eMediCall Solutions, LLC ("eMediCall", "Us", or "We") is committed to protecting the privacy and security of our users and visitors to eMediCall.com ("Site") and the clinical communication services offered through our platform.

HIPAA & Protected Health Information (PHI)

As a specialized healthcare communications platform, eMediCall complies with the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) and the Health Information Technology for Economic and Clinical Health (HITECH) Act. In providing clinical messaging and on-call scheduling services, eMediCall operates as a Business Associate to healthcare providers, nursing facilities, and hospices.

All Protected Health Information (PHI) is handled strictly in accordance with applicable federal law and formal Business Associate Agreements (BAAs) executed between eMediCall and our covered entity clients. We never sell, lease, or commercialize patient data or clinical communications under any circumstances.

Information We Collect

We collect information in two primary categories:

  • Inquiry & Contact Information: When you request a demo or submit an inquiry through our Contact Us form, we collect your name, organizational affiliation, email address, phone number, and message content to assist you.
  • Platform Account Data: Authorized clinical users access the platform using assigned administrative credentials. System activity is logged for auditing and regulatory compliance.
Data Protection & Safeguards

Security is fundamental to our clinical architecture:

  • Encryption at Rest: All database assets and document staging areas utilize NIST-standard AES encryption.
  • Encryption in Transit: All data transmitted to and from the web and mobile applications is encrypted via modern TLS/SSL protocols.
  • IP-Allowlisted Nurse Access: Clinical facility dispatch can be restricted to authorized facility IP ranges.
  • Zero-PHI SMS Alerts: Carrier text notifications dispatch secure tokens and alerts without broadcasting patient health details over public cellular channels.
Disclosure of Information

We do not disclose personal information to third parties except:

  • As directed by our customer healthcare facilities in fulfillment of clinical communications.
  • To trusted technology infrastructure providers (e.g. secure cloud hosting, carrier dispatch) bound by strict Business Associate and confidentiality agreements.
  • When required by law, subpoena, or valid legal process.
  • To protect the security and integrity of our systems and users.
